click this button to find your child’s group color for drop off + Pick up

There are two tabs: Kids & Teens. Make sure you are looking at the right tab for your child! Color groups are mainly for drop off and pick up. All campers will be together in the same room so will still be able to interact with friends while at camp. Changes will not be made to these groups. Thank you for your understanding!

Important info + welcome video

Hi Families and Campers!

Alyssa and I are excited to welcome you to the Empire Room July 10-14 for Omaha Fashion Camp! Below is some important info to ensure your child has a great experience at Camp:

Intro to Omaha Fashion Camp 2023

  • Camp will take place at the Empire Room on 200 S 31st Ave #4107 Omaha NE 68132. You can pull up right in the inner circle of Turner Park on 31st Street near the building identified as #7 on the map. Please see a map of Turner Park here.

  • Kids (ages 6-10) will have camp from 9 a.m.- noon. Teens (11-17) will have camp from 12:30 - 4 p.m.

  • New drop-off/pick-up procedure: Each camper will be assigned to a small group that will be led by a dedicated camp counselor. Each small group will have it's own color. Click the button above to see which color group your child is in. This color will be your guide for drop-off and pick-up. You will see the counselors lined up outside of Empire Room on the sidewalk, holding colored signs (see the video). At drop-off, your child should go to the counselor holding the sign for the assigned group color. You or whomever is picking up your child should look for that same color at pick-up to find your child. Each counselor will have a list of campers they are responsible for to ensure everyone is dropped off and picked up. This new procedure will help parents get in and out of camp in a more timely manner.

  • If your child is Covid positive or is showing any signs of illness, please have them stay home. If your child has been exposed to Covid, but is not positive, please have your child wear a mask.

  • Please send your child a refillable water bottle with their name on it. We will provide a water station so they can fill up their water bottle as needed. They will also receive a nut-free snack each day and be given their own Omaha Fashion Camp branded project bag at the start of the week.

  • There will be an in-person sharing at the end of the week for parents to enjoy! The sharing will be on Friday, July 14th, with kids camp sharing at 11 a.m. and teen camp sharing at 3 p.m. You are welcome to take photos of your child to share with family. Please respect the privacy of other kids in camp by refraining from sharing pics of children from other families on social media.

  • Campers from our teen group will have an opportunity to show on the main runway at Omaha Fashion Week in August! We will provide more details about this opportunity next week.

  • Omaha Fashion Camp has a zero tolerance policy for bullying and anti-social behavior. Any instances of this type of behavior may result in dismissal from camp. No refunds will be given in this scenario.

  • Here is a link to the Camp Group Colors. We are not able to make changes to group assignments. Note that there are two tabs on that spreadsheet - one for children and one for teens. Make sure you look for your child’s name on the correct tab.

  • All your child needs to bring is a water bottle labeled with a name, and a positive attitude! We provide a sewing machine for each child, along with all of the sewing supplies & fabric required for projects. Thanks to South High & Goodwill for providing these items to our campers!

  • If your child is unable to attend camp, please note that refunds are not given. We would be happy to roll over your child’s reservation to next summer, instead.

We look forward to seeing you all in a few days - if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out via text to 1 (402) 937-1061. Thanks!

Sincerely,

Brook Hudson, OFW Producer & Alyssa Dilts, Omaha Fashion Camp Director/Develop Model Management
