Hi Families!
Time flies when you’re having fun! We are already half-way through the week & continue to learn something new every day! As always, thank you for dropping off your kids on time and prepared for camp today. Below are what your kiddos learned today with photos from the day:
Littles (ages 6-11)
Began the day with a mock fashion show and practiced their runway walks.
Next, they created a hand stitched button bag.
Followed by learning how to use a sewing machine and practiced stitch designs on paper.
After, campers created two hand-made invitations to their Friday Fashion Show
Teens (ages 12-17)
Started with a discussion of the history of the fashion and model industry.
Finished their sewing machine zipper pouch bag project with the guidance of special guests from South High.
They were able to pick out a second fabric/ garment for the Goodwill Popup Thrift Shop area.
Continued to work on their brand, mood boards, and reworking garments for the Friday Fashion Show, which they could be wearing as Omaha Fashion Week’s Thursday Night Opening Headliner. How exciting!
Reminder to have your child bring a light sweater or jacket since the building does get chilly! We will provide a nut-free snack and a water stations for campers each day, but they must bring a refillable water bottle.

Important Information About Friday’s Fashion Show
Please have littles wear a shirt and biker shorts / shorts on Friday for the show.
Littles (ages 6-11) will have their show first, followed by the Teens (ages 12-17)
Littles Show starts at 11 AM, doors open at 10:45 AM
Teens Show starts at 3 PM, doors open at 2:45 PM
Limited to two guests per camper due to the size of the venue.
Following the show, campers will be released.
