Day Two at Omaha Fashion Camp, Owned and operated by Develop Model Management and Omaha Fashion Week, was packed with hands-on learning, creativity, and new skills! Today, our campers made exciting progress in both sewing and building their confidence. They learned how to confidently walk the runway, practiced posing for the camera, and gained more experience operating sewing machines. It was a day full of focus, growth, and plenty of fun!
Kids Camp:
Campers practiced their runway walk and learned how to pose confidently for the camera.
They continued building their sewing skills by practicing on paper to improve control and accuracy.
Campers picked out the fabric for their skirt projects and began bringing their designs to life.

Preteen/Teen Update:
Campers split into two groups. Group 1 worked with Mary and Sarah to measure, cut, and sew their zipper bags.
Group 2 joined Alyssa to practice sketching. At the end of the session, campers created a sketch of what they want their flip look to look like.
We're incredibly thankful for our wonderful partners at Omaha South High, who generously provide a sewing machine for every camper, as well as Goodwill Omaha, who keep our Pop-Up Shop stocked with clothing, fabrics, and other items that campers can up-cycle into something truly unique!
