Campers spent the final two days finishing their garments, making accessories and practicing their walks for Friday’s big show! They also played some games to work on their public speaking voices.
For the preteens+teens, Friday was a very inspiring day. They heard from a panel of industry experts and got to ask all their burning questions about careers in the fashion industry. Panelists were:
Dan Richters, fashion designer, artist and videographer
Brett Foster, OFW visual artist and retail visual merchandiser
Katelyn Smith, international model
Sydney Moore, stylist, model, fashion designer and camp leader
At the end of our discussion we asked our panel to choose their favorite look from the campers flipped garments. From those favorite looks, we then asked our camp leaders to choose the winner based on the camper's overall positive attitude and involvement in all activities throughout the week. Camper Addysen O. was chosen! She will get to model her look during a professional photoshoot with her image being featured in Omaha Fashion Week's Magazine directory for the shows. Congrats Addysen!
