All campers have gotten on the machines as of today! South high teachers are on site working with our preteen/teen campers, helping them sharpen their skills. We have many campers in both groups who come back year after year - and they continue to sharpen their skills as they work on their projects which will be shown at the end of the week.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of Omaha Fashion Camp! Check out what we did today at camp…

Campers spent the final two days finishing their garments, making accessories and practicing their walks for Friday’s big show! They also played some games to work on their public speaking voices.

The sewing machines were humming away at camp today! Kids in both groups were busy selecting fabrics & garments, cutting, measuring and sewing on the machines and by hand. You could feel the excitement in the air and see how much fun they were having being creative!

Another incredible day at Omaha Fashion Camp! Campers all had in-depth sketching lessons with Alyssa, while continuing to collect inspiration for their personal brand logos, mood boards and their look for Friday’s fashion show. They also learned a little bit about being backstage at a fashion show and how important teamwork is.

It was a successful and busy first day at Omaha Fashion Camp 2023! Campers covered a LOT of ground on the first day and will be moving on to working on the machines tomorrow!

Omaha’s most stylish summer camp will be taking place in the summer of 2023 to educate your kids and teens on the fashion industry! Hosted by Omaha Fashion Week and Develop Model Management, campers will learn invaluable skills such as sewing, sketching, pattern making, and much more.
